COVID-19 POLICY

The health and well-being of our students and staff is our highest priority. We are proud to share that as of today's date (5/25/22), we have never closed our school due to an outbreak, since reopening on 6/15/20.

As such, we will be taking the following transmission-based precautions to limit the exposure of communicable diseases within our school community:

Students and staff will be excluded from our program for a minimum of 14-days, if the individual or a member of their household has, or

has been in close contact with anyone that has:

(a)        Tested positive for COVID-19 or

(b)        Traveled to and/or from a designated area which is subject to travel restrictions.

Students and staff may return to Genesis, 14 days after potential exposure, provided that:

(a)        At least 10 days have passed since the individual or household member first experienced symptoms; and

(b)        Symptoms have improved and the individual has been fever-free for at least 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
